# Fees & Rebates

### Fees

Trading fees on Injective are typically set to:

* **Maker Fee**: -0.005%
* **Taker Fee**: 0.05%

### VIP Discount Tiers

Traders who meet threshold criteria for minimum staked INJ and minimum trading volume on a 28-day rolling basis are eligible for discounts on Injective trading fees. To view your current tier and personal statistics, as well as the trading fee discounts available to each tier, please visit the [Fee Discounts page](https://helixapp.com/fee-discounts/). Upon connecting / logging into your account, you will see the dashboard below, populated with your information.

### Rebates

On Helix, rebates are available for maker fees, standardized at 60%.

For example, a trader places a limit order to purchase 1 BTC/USDT PERP at $100,000. If this limit order constitutes a maker flow, it is eligible for the -0.005% maker trading fee. As such, the rebate issued to the trader is calculated as:

$$
\text{Rebate} = $100,000 \times 0.00005 \times 0.6 = $3
$$

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.helixapp.com/trading/fees-and-rebates.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
